Resolution: Fixed
Merged to master, plugin developers can now provide custom logic to resolve
auth challenge via the following function

public boolean onReceivedHttpAuthRequest(CordovaWebView view, final
ICordovaHttpAuthHandler handler, String host, String realm) {
