Steve Gill commented on CB-8775:
--------------------------------
Still have to stop plugman fetch from grabbing the other plugin and putting it
in your plugins directory. Cordova plugin ls will list what is in your projects
plugin directory. If you try to install org.apache.cordova.device to a project
that has cordova-plugin-device, it will now not install
org.apache.cordova.device. It is still fetching it though and cordova plugin ls
lists both even though org.apache.cordova.device didn't get installed.
> Integrate registry mapper module into the workflow for checking if a plugin
> is already installed

> If you currently have plugins installed which are reverse domain name style
> (RDN) and install one of these updated dash style plugins, I don't think our
> current workflow will recognize that the plugin is already installed.
> We need to integrate registry-mapper into the check if plugin exists workflow
> so it won't try to install the same plugin twice due to new plugin ID.
