Shazron,
I think we perfectly understand how it works, however the whitelist plugin is
installed by default and it is now at ver 1.1.0 that has a dependency to all
platforms to be >=4.0.0-dev
So we always get now this error because cordova-ios is still at 3.8.0
We can't just remove the whitelist because it might be used by other installed
platforms and those are already at 4.0.0
So the only way is to downgrade the whitelist plugin.
However it will be much more easier if you just speed up and release
cordova-ios 4.0.0 at last as it is long overdue ...
So please do so.
