João Antunes commented on CB-8960:
----------------------------------
you are right Harsha:
MBP:mobile joantune$ cordova platform list
Installed platforms: android 4.0.2, ios 3.8.0
Available platforms: amazon-fireos, blackberry10, browser, firefoxos
MBP:mobile joantune$ cordova --version
5.1.1
I had no idea that there were 2 different versions, one for cordova and another
for the platform, a prefix or suffix on the platform version comes to mind to
avoid this e.g. p-4.0.2 p-3.8.0
Also, the docs become a bit confusing with this, I guess that the cordova
version should have a hard link to the docs on the corresponding version of the
platform i.e. if I go here: http://cordova.apache.org/docs/en/5.1.1/ It should
not show the documentation of cordova-ios 4.0, but of 3.8.0 as that is the
version that is used.
Plus, typo persists in XML:
https://github.com/apache/cordova-docs/blob/master/docs/en/edge/guide/platforms/ios/config.md
