This problem goes away once the dataset loads completely but the page doesn't
have an indicator that the results are still loading -- even though the
"Loading.." placeholder in the searchbox goes away after page load, if you
immediately type you will encounter this jankiness.
Recommend a loading indicator or keep the "Loading..." placeholder until the
dataset completely loads.
