Jesse Monroy commented on CB-7107:
----------------------------------

I agree with Chris. There should be some consistency across all platforms. I
recognize that this service may be unfamiliar to the native platform, but
waiting for the manufacture to act is not always the best option. This service
*should not* alienate the manufacture - as it provides an enhancement they
should be providing.

> Docs do nothing to explain why you would use this

> Key: CB-7107
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-7107
> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Plugin Console
> Reporter: Raymond Camden
> Priority: Minor
>
> The docs have this to say about the plugin:
> "This plugin is meant to ensure that console.log() is as useful as it can be.
> It adds additional function for iOS, Ubuntu, Windows Phone 8, and Windows 8.
> If you are happy with how console.log() works for you, then you probably
> don't need this plugin."
> And that's it. It does nothing, as far as I can see, to tell you what "as
> useful as it can be" actually means. It sounds like it may 'fix' console.log
> where it doesn't work, but it doesn't clearly say that.
> It also says it adds "additional function" - ok - so what additional function?
