I agree with your concern.
I would like to redesign the _device motion_ plugin for the following two
sensors:
gyroscope and accelerometer
And update _device orientation_.
Both should be align to WC3.
Does have anyone any suggestions/objections/etc. ?

This would need to merge the plugin _device motion_ and _device orientation_
and upgrade the plugin to use also gyroscope.
