As a result of trying to load from a file:// url on iOS 8, the web view engine
performs a fallback from WKWebView to UIWebView.
Specifically: <content src="index.html" />
When this happens the settings from the status bar plugin are not honored.
Specifically:
<preference name="StatusBarOverlaysWebView" value="false" />
Is ignored, and the web content flows underneath the status bar.
