On iOS it will always show a "Launch Image" and you can't avoid it or control
it.
It's not the same as the splash screen, the splash screen plugin uses the same
image that is used as launch image, but it's displayed after the launch image
disappears (you shouldn't notice the change).
So, are you trying to hide the "Launch Image" or the "Splash Screen" that goes
after the "Launch Image"?
I think this is related, we should document the "Launch Image"
