Swigle commented on CB-10533:
-----------------------------
Hmm, weird stuff is happening. I began working on the app again this morning,
and because of testing last week, my app had all the plugins still installed.
So, as expected, it froze when starting up, same as before.
But after removing the statusbar plugin, it still froze when starting up...
I then removed the device plugin, rebuild an ran it, but it still froze.
Then i removed the splashscreen plugin (and rebuild and ran it) and then it
worked again!
Afterwards i added the device plugin again, and it kept working. After that i
added the statusbar plugin again and it still worked.
A bit baffled, i added the splashscreen plugin again, and it froze the app
again. Removing the plugin again, the freezing was gone as well.
Now, i have no clue whats wrong :)

> Key: CB-10533
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-10533
> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Plugin Statusbar
> Environment: cordova 6, cordova for iOS 4.0.1
> Reporter: Swigle
>
> I have a Sencha project with cordova implemented.
> When i add the statusbar (2.1.0) to my project, build the app, and run it in
> xcode simulator the app will freeze immediately en become unresponsive.
> In the debug navigator in xcode i can see the CPU is using near 100%
> continuously and the amount of memory climbs at a steady pace with about
> 120MB/s until it crashes completely.
> Removing the plugin immediately fixes this issue and the app works as
> intended.
