I've been using this plugin and cordova-plugin-keyboard plugin (as well as
others) for some time now and both started crashing at the exact same time so i
have a sneaking feeling they are both related but no way of proving. I fixed
them both by doing as someone else suggested, i wrapped them in a 300ms
setTimeout function at startup, afterwards i call them normally. If you are
