{{android-activityName}} in config.xml is undocumented, but it's necessary for
making older apps work with the latest version of Cordova; once you've
published an app, you can't change the activity name.
But if you set {{android-activityName="Foo"}}, it will set {{<activity
android:name="Foo">}} in the manifest. According to the [Android
docs|http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/activity-element.html#nm],
the value should start with a period, e.g. {{<activity android:name=".Foo">}}.
I have already published an app with the period, so I have to manually add it
to the manifest before publishing.
Since this could break compatibility with existing apps if you start inserting
the period now, maybe a workaround would be: if {{android-activityName}} starts
with a period, use it in the manifest, but remove it when creating the Java
file.
