This is also affecting my projects.
In the docs only two sizes are listed:
<platform name="windows">
<!-- images are determined by width and height. The following are supported
-->
<splash src="res/screen/windows/splashscreen.png" width="620" height="300"/>
<splash src="res/screen/windows/splashscreenphone.png" width="1152"
height="1920"/>
</platform>
But there's a lot more sizes that a windows universal app needs.
Also the icons needs all the diferentes size deviations from sale100 to
scale125, scale 150, scale200 and scale400.
