Richard B Knoll commented on CB-10841:
--------------------------------------
I was messing around with Android N today (2nd developer preview) and I
observed this bug as well. It disappeared when I updated AndroidManifest.xml to
add two extra configuration changes to the list of ones our Activity handles
({{smallestScreenSize}} and {{screenLayout}}). We need those two declared
anyway in order to prevent the Activity from getting restarted when the app is
resized (according to [this blog
post|https://medium.com/google-developers/5-tips-for-preparing-for-multi-window-in-android-n-7bed803dda64#.pwcaz7gbf]).
> Cordova crashes when the window is resized on Android N

> Long-Press the Square Box so it enters window-resize mode and resize a window.
> Expected: Shouldn't crash
> What happens: Crashes miserably
> It's likely that the WebView wasn't tested and this preview all Cordova apps
> crap the bed. This applies to the System Webview. I can't get Crosswalk to
> work with Android N at all, so I'm not really testing it.
> (You can't resize your window in prior versions of Android)
