Joseph Montanez commented on CB-10988:
--------------------------------------
Hi,
I have an update on this. I've switch the JPG type to PNG and it seems to
resolve the issue. So there is something wrong with using the JPG type for
camera images.
> iOS app crashing after photo is taken
> -------------------------------------
>
> Key: CB-10988
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-10988
> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Plugin Camera
> Affects Versions: 2.1.0, 2.1.1
> Environment: iOS 9.3, iPhone 6+
> Reporter: Joseph Montanez
> Labels: ios, mustfix, triaged
>
> After taken 20+ photos, one after another the application will crash on the
> Phone 6+. This happens most often when zooming into the camera, having photos
> with a lot of motion or low light images.
> I've tried to debug the application but the safari inspector crashed, and the
> XCode debugger exists, as well as the application exiting. Here is the crash
> report:
> Also here is the code I am using to replicate this issue:
> Here is what memory usage looks like before the application crashes:

> Overall it looks like a memory issue, the spikes are after taking various
> photos.
