In order for app extensions and apps to exchange data, they both request access
to a group container.
NSFileManager.containerURLForSecurityApplicationGroupIdentifier(...)
to be more specific.
That location - however - doesn't seem to be available with the File plugin.
Please consider adding support for Application Groups
