ivanix created CB-12926:
---------------------------
Summary: screen.orientation.lock doesn't keep orientation when
ios's "Portrait Orientation" icon is off
Key: CB-12926
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-12926
Project: Apache Cordova
Issue Type: Bug
Components: cordova-plugin-screen-orientation
Affects Versions: [email protected]
Environment:
iPod Touch 5 with iOS 9.3.5
Cordova 5, 7.0.1
The plugin version affected starts at 2.01 to the latest in git as of
2017-06-16.
Below 2.01 the api is broken and does not work at all.
Reporter: ivanix
Assignee: Vishal Mishra
screen.orientation.lock(*) will set the specified orientation, but not keep
when the device is rotated if the Portrait Orientation icon is off in the
Control Panel of iOS.
When the Portrait Orientation icon is on, the function works as expected,
keeping the orientation locked regardless of how the device is rotated.
I have not tested on iOS 10, so no idea if this is just a ios 9 issue.
