Filip Maj commented on CB-10448:
--------------------------------

Linking this issue to CB-12895, as at least for JavaScript, we will be using
{{eslint}} to validate and enforce style for JS. Additionally, checking
JavaScript style will be part of the regular PR process, so if there are
linting errors for JavaScript, that will come up as part of code review. I
think that should be the default approach for _all_ languages used in Cordova -
don't document an explicit style guide (that's a lot of work!) and instead rely
on linters and formalized style guides therein for this kind of work.

> Languages it should cover:
> - JavaScript
> - Markdown
> - Java
> - Objective C
> - C#
> - JSON
> - YAML
> - CSS
> - HTML
> - English (voice, tense, etc.)
> The existing docs styleguide
> (https://github.com/MSOpenTech/cordova-docs/tree/master/doc) is a good
> starting point. Having /docs/styleguide/LANGUAGE.md is a potential way to
> organise it.
