A work-around for the above issue:
- Remove cordova-plugin-wkwebview-engine from ios.json before running
--browserify.
- Remove the following lines of code from the generated cordova.js file:
```commandQueue.push(JSON.stringify(command));
if (!isInContextOfEvalJs && commandQueue.length == 1) {
pokeNative();
}```
- Use the following code instead:
`window.webkit.messageHandlers.cordova.postMessage(command);`
