Resolution: Not A Problem
You are clobbering your plugin to device object
https://github.com/Fakerinc/cordova-test/blob/master/plugins/cordova-plugin-echo-js/plugin.xml#L12-L14
Anyway, that's not a problem, clobbering only works if you have module.exports
in your plugin's js and you don't have it.
I've tested your plugin from your github repo and it's working fine, so closing
as not a problem, you were probably not waiting for device ready as Kerri
already mentioned.
