Had a quick chat w/ [~shazron], [~macdonst], [~hollyschinsky], [~vishalmishra],
[~mwbrooks] about the upgrade path issue.
Decision was made to treat this as a documentation issue, and ensure we are
loud and clear about potential conflicts in release notes and blog/announcement
about new releases.
