-----------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
With the new features introduced in
[XMLHttpRequest|https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/XMLHttpRequest],
this plugin is not needed any more. Migrating from this plugin to using the
new features of
[XMLHttpRequest|https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/XMLHttpRequest],
is explained in this [Cordova blog
post|https://cordova.apache.org/blog/2017/10/18/from-filetransfer-to-xhr2.html].
> File Transfer release notes mention cookie change, but is it documented?
> ------------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: CB-9411
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-9411
> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: cordova-plugin-file-transfer (DEPRECATED)
> Reporter: Raymond Camden
> Priority: Minor
>
> In the release notes for FileTransfer, this is mentioned:
> "Added option to allow for passing cookies automatically in the browser"
> However, in checking the docs
> (https://github.com/apache/cordova-plugin-file-transfer/blob/master/README.md),
> I'm not seeing anything cookie related. It could simply be a
> misunderstanding, but for folks who check release notes to see what has
> changed, it should be corrected I think.
