Matías Fuster created CB-13660:
----------------------------------

             Summary: IOS Form Validation
                 Key: CB-13660
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-13660
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: cordova-ios
    Affects Versions: cordova-ios 4.5.0
            Reporter: Matías Fuster
            Assignee: Suraj Pindoria
            Priority: Minor

On IOS 11.1.1 up to 11.2 HTML5 Forms won't consider validation attributes like
required, min length, max length, email type, etc and so it submits the form
without validating it. It works with WKWebview though. It also works on Safari
browser as expected.

This is a simple index.html we use to test it:

        Some notes:
            * gap: is required only on iOS (when using UIWebView) and is needed
for JS->native communication
            * https://ssl.gstatic.com is required only on Android and is needed
for TalkBack to function properly
            * Disables use of inline scripts in order to mitigate risk of XSS
vulnerabilities. To change this:
                * Enable inline JS: add 'unsafe-inline' to default-src
        -->
        <meta http-equiv="Content-Security-Policy" content="default-src 'self'
data: gap: https://ssl.gstatic.com 'unsafe-eval'; style-src 'self'
'unsafe-inline'; media-src *; img-src 'self' data: content:;">
