Sachitra Malwatte commented on CB-12509:
----------------------------------------
I managed to find a workaround for my issue.
But I still think 4.1.1 version of Cordova was the problem here. There is an
app (built with 3.8.0) installed in the device with data saved in local
storage. Local storage is gone when the app is updated (new build is built with
Cordova 4.1.1). It works fine if the new build is built with the same version
of Cordova (3.8.0). Obviously issue is in Cordova itself. If you think this is
an iOS issue, please state why it worked fine with the same Cordova version (
3.8.0).
It does not matter if you cannot fix it. At least accept the fact that it is a
Cordova issue.
> LocalStorage not persistent when app is updated (cordova ios 3.8.0 -> 4.1.1)
> in iOS 10.2
