It seems to me there is still advantage to using a Cordova plugin to get a
devices orientation? Some native code might have better performance than a
browser function?
But the plugin allowed for options, like "frequency" which was very useful, the
addEventListener spews out results at a very high rate, we used the frequency
to only have samples every 300ms.
