Cody created CB-14007:
-------------------------

Summary: InAppBrowser - iPhone X status bar should not appear in
landscape mode
                 Key: CB-14007
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-14007
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: cordova-ios, cordova-plugin-inappbrowser
    Affects Versions: 1.3.0
            Reporter: Cody
            Assignee: Suraj Pindoria
         Attachments: iphone-8-plus-landscape.png, iphone-8-plus-portrait.png,
iphone-x-landscape.png, iphone-x-portrait.png

When loading a url in the InAppBrowser, there is a 44 px gray status bar for
iPhone X.  This appears to be larger due to "the notch" on this device.

However, when you switch to landscape mode, the 44px gray status bar stays on
the top, which is a mistake because the notch is now on the side.

I am using the "viewport-fit=cover" meta viewport tag, as well as the iPhone X
compatible splash screens, as is recommended here:

I have attached screenshots of the problematic behavior in iPhone X, as well as
the desired behavior in iPhone 8 Plus.

There seem to be possibly related issues out there regarding iPhone X layout,
such as https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-13956 and
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-13583
