   Thanks @oliversalzburg I think you are right about the test. I would say 
that the behavior of Cordova w.r.t. semantic versioning should reflect the 
behavior of npm whenever possible for best consistency and least surprise. I 
think I remember npm behaving this way, would probably be good to verify.
