Sergey Beryozkin commented on CXF-2272:
---------------------------------------
Actually, I'm not sure I understand
Here's a sample post :
POST /bookstore/books HTTP/1.1
Content-Type: application/xml;charset=utf-8
User-Agent: Jakarta Commons-HttpClient/3.1
Host: localhost:9081
Content-Length: 98
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?><Book><name>CXF in
Action - 2</name></Book>
and I see no problem in JAXRSUtils.findTargetMethod().
Do you MediaType.fromString() throwing this exception ?
Can you please attach a sample ?
> Only mime-type (not content-type) should be set on the message.

> Project: CXF
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: REST
> Affects Versions: 2.2.3, 2.3
> Reporter: Chaitanya Choleti
> Fix For: 2.2.3, 2.3
>
>
> In org.apache.cxf.transport.http.AbstractHttpDestination.setupMessage()
> method only mime-type should be set on the message.
> For example:
> If the content-type header on a request is :
> application/xml;charset=utf-8
> an IllegalArgumentException is thrown in
> org.apache.cxf.jaxrs.utils.JAXRSUtils.findTargetMethod() as it expects only
> mime type.
