Aki,
With 2.4.0 just a couple weeks away, I'm actually quite ok with saying this is
a 2.4.x improvement. If you'd like to port it to 2.3.x, that's fine, but I
wouldn't consider it a major issue. If there are other things you'd prefer to
spend your time on, please do so. :-)
