Daniel Kulp commented on CXF-3669:
----------------------------------
I cannot reproduce this. If I Endpoint.publish a class like:
{code:java}
@WebService
public class CXF3669 {
@WebMethod(operationName = "MyFooMethod")
public String myFooMethod(int bar) {
return Integer.toHexString(bar);
}
}
{code}
I'm only seeing the MyFooBar element, no "myFooMethod".
Thus, I'd likely need a full test case for this.

> For my web service API I have a method name starting with lowercase, but I
> specify the operationName as starting with uppercase. When the wsdl is
> generated, it shows elements for both the lowercase and uppercase versions.
> Having both versions will cause wsdl2java to fail if it is run against this
> wsdl.
> I have found that if I change the operationName to something totally
> different, this issue is not seen, so it looks like just different
> capitalization causes the problem.
> Here is the example:
> @WebMethod (operationName="MyFooMethod")
> void myFooMethod(int bar);
> In the generated WSDL, you will see "MyFooMethod" and "myFooMethod" as
> xs:element tags.
