Yes. I also think we should remove this xml element. The fact that this was 
discovered so late shows that not many people seem to have used this.
The new authSupplier element is much more flexible anyway.

So if there are no opposing voices I will remove the basAuthSupplier element 
and document the new way on the wiki.
