Re the customization: IMHO the zero-based option is a bit limited, though in
case of JAX-RS people can write per-servlet specific Applications, where A1
will set some provider properties, A2 - some other, etc.
I wonder is there some way for users to post-process the creation of extensions
the CDI way...May be this is what you have in mind too
