Hi, I'm presuming you are referring to this line:

defaultHttpAsyncClient.getCredentialsProvider().setCredentials( AuthScope.ANY,
new NTCredentials( "user", "pwd", "host", "domain" ) );

But this is outside of CXF control.
Or do you refer to something else ? What exactly do you mean by saying "NTLM
API is not exposed" ?
