Andriy Redko commented on CXF-6132:
-----------------------------------
Hi Sergey,
I already have a small prototype working for simplest use cases! Unfortunately,
I have a couple of regressions caused by your commit "Adding few
CXFNonSpringJaxrsServlet utility constructors" /
9e6e0ea422536f384e07f5ac6bb002201a9120c6. In particular,
CXFNonSpringJaxrsServlet throws an exception when instantiating application
instance in some cases. Additionally, there are issues with preserving
application path (caused by the same commit). Would you mind if I fix those
issues as well while working on current one?
Also, I am thinking about adding new module at rt/rs called 'servlet'. The
reason for that is the necessary metadata which should be packaged along with
JAR file (META-INF/services) that may cause unexpected behavior for existing
applications if packaged into frontend. What do you think, make sense to you
(any other name / place are welcome)?
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Andriy Redko
