Yes if it proves to be an XmlSec issue then indeed create an issue there. I'm
not sure Colm would like to keep this issue open but you might want to keep us
all up to date by commenting to this JIRA irrespectively of whether it will be
kept open or not...
I believe CXF has been updated to use the new XmlSec 2.0.2 features and
OpenSaml 2.6.1 - why it works I do not know but it does work. As such CXF is
not expected to work with XmlSec 1.5 given that it has been compiled against
the new XmlSec 2.0.2 methods.
