EhCache 2.x is about 8.5MB in size, due to many shaded dependencies inside it's
JAR, which adds a lot of size to the CXF implementation, specially if you need
to bundle and distribute it as part of a bigger solution.
Apparently EhCache 3 solves this problem and it weighs much less.
I don't know if the upgrade has been evaluated yet, but it would be nice to
reduce the dependency overhead that this is causing.
