Hey [~ffang] ,

Thanka a lot for the comment! We run CXF with JDK16+ as part of CI/CD builds 
[1] [2], besides Karaf, we are in a good shape here. Yes, for records we need 
JDK16+ but baseline would be JDK8. Also, we need tooling (Swagger, Jackson, 
...) to catch up as well. Just wanted to track this feature and think how we 
could tackle it, I guess when JDK17/LTS is out, we will see people asking for 
that.
