------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Mar 7 12:49:22 -0800 2005 ------- I'd also vote for this. I'm using Gentoo, so I can't use or at least don't want to use rpm for several reasons. I'd like to have the control over my system, that I don't have with the rpms especially if there are so many different rpms as in the downloadable package. I don't mind if there are also rpms but, please, make a simple rpm free .tgz archive which just can be extracted into the installation directory, e.g. /opt or /opt/OpenOffice.org or whatever. Or bring back the installer from OpenOffice.org 1.1. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
