Description:
There probably should be a test/dummy/mock storage plugin that provides an easy
way to have views and/or tables with columns covering all* supported data types.
(*for appropriate values of "all"--all top-level cases (atomic types (e.g.,
INTEGER, VARCHAR(...))); some, but obviously not all, subcases (e.g.,
VARCHAR(1) vs. VARCHAR(2), INTEGER ARRAY vs. INTEGER ARRAY ARRAY)).
This would allow more-complete and/or easier testing of things such as
INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS and DatabaseMetaData.getColumns(...).
