I've been trying to use Drill to access HDFS. First, I tried it with user
authentication disabled in the drill-override.conf file, but this is the error
I got when I issued the "show files" command from my HDFS workspace:
PERMISSION ERROR: SIMPLE authentication is not enabled. Available:[TOKEN,
KERBEROS]
So then I enabled user authentication and installed/configured PAM per the
instructions in the Drill documentation. However, when I try to start the Drill
shell now, I get this error: No DrillbitEndpoint can be found
(By the way, I start Drill using "bin/drill-conf") Any ideas on what could be
causing this issue? Thanks.
