Description:
Issuing a query like {{SELECT CONVERT_FROM(CONVERT_TO(columnName, 'json'),
'utf8') FROM}} fails if columnName is not present in the current dataset being
queried, or contains only nulls.
Error received: {{org.apache.drill.common.exceptions.UserRemoteException:
SYSTEM ERROR: UnsupportedOperationException: Unable to get holder type for
minor type [LATE] and mode [OPTIONAL] Fragment 0:0}}
