{{TIMESTAMPDIFF}} may be rewritten using {{EXTRACT}} function. But simply 
extracting the required qualifier from the {{INTERVAL}} which corresponds to 
the dates difference may cause unexpected results, since Interval cannot be 
normalized: days overflow cannot be converted to months, etc.
