I see, this is in the Drill Web UI. The option description is:
Enables lateral join functionality. Default is false. (Drill 1.14+)
Need to change to Default is true. Drill 1.15+

https://drill.apache.org/docs/lateral-join/ is updated for 1.15 stating that it
is enabled by default. You may need to refresh the page to see the update.
In the Drill Web UI, I see that the option is true by default.
