    Description: When the user introduces only a single UDF that accepts 
nullable arguments, it should be possible to use that UDF for arguments with 
the required data mode.  (was: Introduce {{NullHandling.EMPTY_IF_NULL}} to be 
used for UDFs that return {{ComplexWriter}}, so it wouldn't be required to 
introduce two versions of UDF nor nullable and non-nullable inputs.)
