Hi [~luoc],
thanks for the information. I just looked at the Downloads page from
hbase.apache.org site and there is still 2.3.7 the current stable but the
discussion suggests that this will be updated soon as well.
To anser the additional question... i´m not sure if im ready to contribute
code... no idea where to start :-/
