   I'm not sure how this information could be useful for target users. They can 
obtain this and more info from the format plugin config. Ideally, at some point 
in time, the file system plugin could be moved out from the exec module, so 
adding endpoints for specific plugin could make this process more complex and 
grow up the REST API significantly.
   Also, please note that we have a notion of default format that is applied to 
the files without the extension.
