Resolution: Won't Fix
This isn't a Drill bug. Once Impala (or any other Parquet file creator) uses
the Parquet ConvertedType annotations, data will show up correctly as varchar
in drill. In the meantime, you must cast varbinary data to varchar if you want
to see it
