Kevin Madhu commented on FINCN-109:
-----------------------------------

Hi [~ikamga] ,

I think I'm referring to the section, 'How do I get up to speed on
development tasks?', more exactly 'How do I even get started with development
and contributions?'. Because, right now I followed all the instructions
specified on the section mentioned in your comment, I've got the databases
setup and I'm trying to bring up the demo-server to see the project in action
and my system just hangs after some services has been started. So, I'm more
interested in the routine development setup you guys use when you're working on
the project, the configuration of the pcs you guys use etc. If I could get
started with the project, I'll definitely make contributions and get involved
in the project. Now I'm just looking at a couple of services which have been
built, but cannot be run without draining my system of all the resources. I'm
providing the configuration of my system below:

Arch Linux

Thinkpad X1C6

Core i7 8th Gen

16GB RAM

> Hi,
>    The documentation doesn't provide us with any development setup for the
> project. When I start the demo server, it just hangs after a while. Usually,
> for microservice based projects, containers and docker-compose are used in
> development setup I think. Please provide a development setup for the new
> developers out there trying to get started with the project. I don't think
> most of them will have PC's with more than 16 gigs of RAM.
