FTR on CI servers, using --depth 1, this difference (noted above) that I have
seen locally is not noticeable:
https://travis-ci.org/github/apache/fineract/builds still takes approx. 19'
total even with this (no additional 5').
The builds I do "inside" Fineract.dev have not gotten noticeable longer.
I'd therefore say this is a viable solution even long term - no need for
FINERACT-911, really.
