Juhan Aasaru commented on FINCN-172:
------------------------------------

Let's try to get this effort finished. I try to get understanding what needs to
be done in order to merge spring_boot_2 branches to main branch.

I see that the following needs to be tested

1) All fineract-cn-* active repositories have spring_boot_2 branch with
required code changes and builds pass

So basically we need to create a checlist and check that we have checks

2) The outcome is tested with Postman provisioning scripts:

Someone will test manually. Any volunteers?

3) We merge spring_boot_2 braches of all fineract-cn-* active repos back to
develop

> Upgrade all fineract-cn-* apps to latest Spring Boot / Spring Framework

> Proposed by [~Kwesi] :
> 1. Upgrading Fineract CN from Spring Boot 1.4.1 to 2.1.+
> 2. Upgrading Fineract CN from Spring Framework from 4.3.3 to 5.1.+
>
> This should be done in the same time to all fineract-cn-* applications
> (similar to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FINCN-170 ) - so one would
> create pull requests for all apps and once the work is accepted all pull
> requests would be merged together.
